Testbox is designed as a client-side learning and automation sandbox. Practice data may be stored in your browser; the web host may retain ordinary request logs.
1. Overview
Uassert Testbox is a free, browser-based practice environment for QA engineers, SDETs, RPA developers, and learners. You can use its public playground without creating an account.
Use fictional or non-sensitive data in every practice field. Testbox is a simulation—not a place to submit real passwords, payment details, health records, or other confidential information.
2. Information handled
Information you enter
The playground contains realistic forms and workflows. Values you enter are used to demonstrate interface behavior. Depending on the feature, those values or related settings may remain in memory or browser storage on your device.
Device and request information
Like most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and error details to deliver and secure the service.
Browser preferences
Testbox may save theme settings, visited domains, practice progress, created test cases, tool preferences, and similar workspace state in local storage.
3. How information is used
Information is handled only as reasonably needed to:
- provide playground interactions and remember local preferences;
- generate practice code, exports, logs, and test results you request;
- maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve reliability; and
- understand and improve the service when feedback is voluntarily submitted through an external channel.
Testbox does not include an advertising system or a mechanism for selling personal information.
4. Browser storage and retention
Workspace state stored by Testbox stays in the browser profile you used until you clear site data, use an available reset action, or remove it through your browser settings. Exported files stay wherever you choose to save them.
Hosting and security logs, if created by the hosting provider, follow that provider's operational retention practices.
6. Your choices
- Use the playground without creating an account.
- Avoid entering real personal or confidential data.
- Clear Testbox data through the in-app reset option or your browser's site-data controls.
- Disable browser storage, understanding that saved preferences may no longer work.
- Choose whether to visit any third-party link.
7. Children
Testbox is intended for general educational and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit information about a child through practice fields or service feedback channels.
8. Changes and contact
This notice may be updated as the service or hosting setup changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
